As of February 1, 2014, LT. Inman chose to step down from his position as lieutenant of the Bloomfield Police Department. Marshal Tharp wrote a letter to Former LT. Inman.
Jeremy,
I hated to see you submit your
resignation, I realize that it was a tough decision and we all
respect your decision. I just wanted to extend a thank you to
you for your service to the Bloomfield Police Department. I
welcomed your experience and knowledge when you applied to once
again become a police officer with the Bloomfield Police
Department. I appreciated you accepting the role of lieutenant and
the added responsibilities. I am pleased that you have
decided to stay on as a reserve Deputy Marshal. Your
experience and your knowledge is an asset to our young
department.
Kenneth Tharp,
Marshal
Bloomfield Police
Dept.
